‘PLUS’ approach-area protection includes:

• direction-detecting radar motion detectors on both sides open the door
• infrared presence detectors on both sides protect the area around the door

This combined approach opens the door quickly on approach and keeps it open for exactly as long as transport requires. It then closes without delay. Presence in the immediate vicinity of the door is taken into account.

• space-saving: combined radar and infrared in a single unit

Function(s):
1. Radar motion detector with direction detection Detects traffic and people approaching the door and opens it.
2. Cross traffic Traffic moving parallel to the door can be largely excluded from detection. The door does not open.
3. Approach-area safety protection (presence detection) Keeps the door open as long as people, vehicles or other objects are in the door's ‘safety area’. This prevents, for example, forklifts from driving into the closing door and causing damage.
