Sustainable

For us, this goes without saying. For example, we follow an environmentally friendly energy concept. Even material we no longer need is a valuable raw material that can be reused immediately.

Green electricity

ERET generates its own energy. All roof areas are fitted with solar panels. This generates a large proportion of the energy for our production.

Regional components

All purchased components used in the door are manufactured in Germany and are of the highest quality. Names such as GFA-Elektromaten, FEIG-Elektronik and BEA sensors (Belgium) stand for this.

Heating

ERET heats its buildings with stoves that burn disposable pallets. This makes pallets an important resource for us even after they have been used. 

Recycling

We collect metals such as aluminum separately by type. We take batteries to the appropriate collection points. We return reusable pallets. We avoid PU foam, eliminating the need to recycle it.

Short supply routes

Particularly important to us: we work with local partners, reducing long delivery routes. At the same time, we support regional businesses and use components ‘Made in Germany’.

Vehicle fleet

ERET is always looking for an environmentally friendly approach to mobility. Our vehicles therefore run on electricity or gasoline, depending on which makes more energy sense. We also use freight forwarders for shipping to avoid empty trips.

Packaging

We avoid unnecessary purchases of new cardboard boxes. Instead, we collect boxes from all our suppliers and reuse them to ship our products. This saves resources and avoids unnecessary waste.

Replaceable components

We focus on simple components assembled intelligently. This means every component can be replaced. Even after moderately serious accidents, our door can therefore be returned to service quickly.

Digitalisation

We work with modern digital systems that we can also access from customers' premises and from home through a secure VPN connection. Our paperless office therefore saves energy, time and paper and is fast and flexible.

Save electricity

Even though we generate our own electricity, we switch off all equipment as soon as it is no longer in use: for example, our compressors, computers, printers and lighting. An ERET employee checks this at the end of every working day.
