Application example: waste incineration
Location: Switzerland (project by Stawin AG)

In a construction project in Switzerland, 5 Type ASE-S/75 high-speed doors measuring 4,5 x 7,5 m were installed at a waste incineration plant. The doors are powder-coated. Each pair of 2 doors shares a common drive and shaft cover. This gives the high-speed doors a uniform appearance. A traffic light above each door indicates when the opening is ready for unloading.

These high-speed doors are deliberately tall enough to allow refuse trucks to tip their loads without damaging the door. Emissions requirements (environmental regulations) call for very fast opening and subsequent closing.
