Under the ASR (workplace guidelines), vehicle routes and pedestrian walkways must be separated. The problem is that high-speed doors often cannot distinguish between people and vehicles in the opening.
An ‘intelligent’ radar sensor (Type Falcon or Condor) can make this distinction even without an induction loop. Pedestrians are required to use the pedestrian door beside the industrial door. This saves energy and improves operational safety in your business. With the appropriate sensor settings, a filter can make this distinction. Cross traffic, which frequently causes unwanted openings, is also filtered out.
