MOTION & PRESENCE SENSOR FOR HIGH-SPEED DOORS

The LZR®-WIDESCAN is a sensor based on time-of-flight measurement. Its 7 laser curtains cover an extensive area in front of the door. It also combines 3 functions in one device: door opening, approach-area monitoring and additional personal protection around the door threshold. The LZR®-WIDESCAN not only optimises traffic flow and energy consumption, but also improves door protection and user convenience. An intuitive app makes the sensor easy to install.

3D coverage

Using precise distance measurement based on laser technology, the sensor creates a three-dimensional detection field that enables it to calculate an object's exact dimensions, direction and speed.

Door and property protection

The LZR®-WIDESCAN becomes a ‘door guardian’ and protects your investment. It detects precisely when vehicles approach or park, preventing any contact with the door. This also provides optimum protection for the area above the ‘intelligent light curtains’.

Energy savings

Object profiling makes it possible to filter out parallel traffic and pedestrians and optionally adjust the door opening height, so the door opens only when needed, saving energy. A virtual pull switch can also be used to trigger opening at a specific point.

Independent of the floor and surroundings

Laser technology offers a high degree of immunity to interference sources and weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog, ...
