The high-speed door for the food industry
High-speed doors are ideal as room dividers, for separating different production areas or for external use. The curtain can be made from solid PES/PVC, fully transparent PVC or insect screen fabric, as required.
Surfaces in stainless steel or anodized aluminum
The guide rails are preferably made of anodized aluminum or V2A stainless steel. Larger doors are also fitted with a drive and shaft cover with a sloping top. Depending on the cleaning chemicals used, compatibility with aluminum, steel and stainless steel must be checked beforehand. In most cases, the standard anodized surfaces already provide optimal corrosion protection. Expensive stainless steel can then be dispensed with.
Drive and controller with increased protection rating
The drive and controller have a higher protection rating (usually IP65/IP67). Cleaning agents could damage a highly sensitive safety edge. We therefore consistently use non-contact light curtains. The light curtains are concealed inside the side sections. A special bottom seal in gray or warning yellow ensures a tight seal to the floor.
Stainless steel control cabinet with sloping top section. Food-safe door leaf.
The control cabinet is either installed outside the "Wash-Down" area or supplied with a V2A stainless steel housing featuring a sloping top and IP67 protection rating. The PES/PVC used in the door is food-safe.
During daytime operation, the high-speed door operates automatically, opening for each vehicle or pedestrian passage and closing again as quickly as possible. All common activation devices, such as motion detectors, induction loops, pull-cord switches, etc., can be connected for automatic operation.
Area monitoring enables fast closing
As the door systems usually close automatically, area monitoring is recommended to protect people and property.
Numerous additional equipment options are available on request, allowing the doors to be precisely adapted to local conditions.
