Flexible high-speed doors with anti-crash protection

Modell-Variante „Crash-Protect“

Equipment packages

High-speed doors cannot be built to withstand vehicle impacts, for example from forklifts, without damage. Sooner or later, damage to the door is inevitable. High-speed doors should therefore be protected as effectively as possible against vehicle impacts. ERET offers various equipment packages for this purpose. See, for example,  ⇒Approach area safety or ⇒Approach-area protection plus

If a collision is nevertheless unavoidable, the ‘Crash-Protect’ model variant offers the best possible equipment to prevent or reduce expensive damage to the door.
Crash-Protect is available for the model ranges
⇒PSE-M and ⇒PSE-S.

How Crash-Protect works:

If a vehicle enters the door's closing path, perhaps because the approach area is not adequately monitored, the guide track releases the bottom section and door curtain. This significantly reduces the risk of major damage to the door.

Breakaway bottom rail:

A manual crash reset allows the bottom bar to be returned to the guide rail with little effort.

Breakaway curtain:

On high-speed doors used indoors or outdoors in a wind-sheltered installation, the door curtain can also be equipped with breakaway studs. These allow the curtain to come out of the guide rails under excessive mechanical stress without causing irreparable damage.
